I draw inspiration from informal art, artistic craftsmanship, and Eastern painting. The themes I explore in my work revolve around animal rights, transgenerational trauma, and ancestral history. The central point of reference in my paintings is the natural world, along with the full spectrum of emotions tied to human experiences and perceptions of reality.

In my work, I like to combine two opposing ideas, showing that they can form a harmonious whole rather than being in conflict with each other.

I paint on wooden panels made using traditional icon-painting carpentry techniques, as well as on surfaces found in old Podkarpacie cottages. I enjoy giving new life to old wooden boards, avoiding the need for new materials, which reduces consumption and aligns with the idea of recycling. I believe that aged wood carries many stories within it, and sometimes, with the help of a brush, I bring them to the surface, entering into a dialogue with the material I work with.
